Nidrah Green, Center Director & Lead Teacher

Nidrah has worked with children since she was a teenager in Irving, Texas. She volunteered at Cross Roads Ministries, a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged single parent families through hardship. she worked with young children as a mentor and tutor. She has taken numerous other positions over the years teaching and entertaining children. She has worked at Discovery Zone, The Little Gym, and Iasis Gym as a fitness instructor and birthday party host. She has also worked at Faith Baptist Child Development Center, a licensed daycare in Denton, Texas as a assistant teacher in the four year old class and a lead teacher in the after-school class.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from The University of North Texas and a Director’s License from the State of Texas. She enjoys watching football, Kickboxing, Zumba and spending time with her family and friends.

She receives numerous child care training on a vast array of child-related subjects through her affiliation with three child care organizations. She is a past member of the National Child Care Association and an active member of the Texas Association for Family Child Care and the Keller Association for Family Child Care. These organizations provide her with monthly child care education classes, workshops, online material, conference calls, weekend conferences and lots of support.

Nidrah and her husband, Marlon have been married since 2007 and have two children together Nylan and Marlee. She also has a step-daughter, Mya. The family attends Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas.

Connie Hardin, Substitute Teacher

Connie has worked in the banking industry for over ten years. She has worked for great companies like Bemis, a subsidiary of Mrs. Bairds Bread, Bank One and currently Chase Bank. She is Nidrah’s mother and she substitutes at Green House Christian Learning Center in her daughter’s absence. Connie is First Aid and CPR certified and she takes numerous child care classes each year to keep herself informed and up-to-date. She absolutely loves spending time with all of her grandchildren; Nylan, Jaxon, Marlee and Mya. Her hobbies include going to garage sales and finding treasures, buying and selling on Ebay, and playing with her dog Bella. She also enjoys building playgrounds for underprivileged children with an organization called Kaboom, walking in The American Heart Association walk each year to help raise money, and volunteering with The Special Olympics. Connie has also volunteered for a number of years with Carter Blood Drives and Habitat For Humanity. She is a warm and giving woman that is more than willing to lend a helping hand.

All staff members are at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma, are free of active tuberculosis, First Aid and CPR certified, background checked by the State of Texas, and participate in continual child care training. We want the best for your child, so it is important for us to keep current on all child-related issues and training.
